About the project

Victorian Dermal Group engaged EngineRoom to redesign and rebuild their existing website to better reflect their premium in-store experience and new branding aesthetic. Over time the requirements of the website increased from a lead generation platform to generate in-clinic consultations, to also accept online virtual consultations, and soon after sell their products online via their new ecommerce website.

My role throughout these various projects as Digital Experience Lead was ultimately the delivery of each requirement, including UX/UI strategy and design deliverables as well as Webflow development of the platform.

The website

Given the importance of aesthetics in this industry, heavy emphasis was placed on the UI deliverables for this project. Special care was taken to represent the new branding in a modern digital light, while balancing best UX practices and accessibility.

I overcame some of these potential challenges through considered industry and competitor research to ensure alignment with the client, as well as set expectations of best UX and conversion rate practices by setting functionality and structural expectations with wireframes, before any high fidelity styling was presented.
