About the project

Sean McMullen, established Australian sci-fi author, needed a brand and identity to help promote his work within the industry. The project required a logo-mark design and supporting brand assets. Sean's sci-fi stories often brought together the past and the future, so this was a key consideration when creating this brand.

Blending the past and the future

The futuristic logo-mark itself, when combined with traditional branding mediums, such as wax stamps, aimed to contrast the past and the future, reflected in Sean's stories. The business cards were printed with silver foil lettering on black card, and black foil letting on white, with silver edge-foiling to give a futuristic aesthetic to a traditional business card.
